An experienced and proactive Accounts person is sought to take ownership of the day-today finance operations, payroll and administrative HR functions of a Kidderminster based company.
This is an exciting role to work alongside the Operations Manager and Accounts Team to support the efficient day-to-day running of business operations. No two days will be the same and you'll need to flex and adapt to working on a number of workstreams simultaneously, from strategic growth and development projects to daily tasks such as bank reconciliations and customer invoicing.
Other tasks will include but are not limited to:
Maintaining accurate & up-to-date financial records using the accounting software, Xero and our inhouse IT systems
Credit Control
Processing Supplier invoices
Raising Bank Payments
Employee Expenses
Running the monthly payroll
Processing company benefit schemes
Monthly Deferrals
Cost Control
Preparation and submission of VAT Returns.
This pivotal role will also involve producing monthly management accounts for the SMT when required, driving accurate cost accounting for projects and maintenance agreements, and spearheading system and process improvements to support the development of the department and wider business.
